You should have probably heard the buzzword ‘upcycle. The trend of this buzzword is all about transforming products to reuse them rather than just throwing them into the trash. But what’s the reason? Because it’s an efficient way to reuse materials and reduce our footprint. Not just that, it’s pretty fun too.
Therefore we at Anomalous decided to bring you a collection of 50 times where people showed how they remade things. From a handcrafted tote bag to an old grill transformed into a herb carb, we got a lot of different things for you. We hope you will enjoy them.

#3 I Take Plastic Shipping /Bale Straps From Hardware Store Waste, And Make Sturdy, Functional & Fashionable Baskets! (My Cats Also Love Them At Every Stage)

Each and every year humans all around the world dump more than 2.12 billion tons of waste. The reason for this stunning amount of waste is that almost everything we buy is trashed within 6 months.
However, more and more people are becoming aware of this situation and starting to follow sustainable ways to reduce the damage of waste. Lina Survila, the editor-in-chief of Abstract Stylist magazine said that “Upcycling is a re-use of no longer desirable items.
It can be something that has lost its function or simply doesn’t spark joy anymore,” Lina explained this buzzword.

“The more we upcycle, the more we choose not to buy something new. It’s like making dinner from scraps—you use something most people would throw away, and you save money,” said Lina.
From clothes to household objects you can literally upcycle anything you want. “I upcycle paper boxes and bags, glass bottles, and old textiles. For example, you can upcycle your old bed linen into small kitchen napkins or towels. Also, use boxes as containers for storage, build compartments in your closet from them,” she concluded.
