When you hear(Couple) the word ‘’fashion’’ what comes to your mind? To me it is a very interesting topic.” Dresses”,‘’ Just wow’’
Basically, fashion means the way we wear our clothes and other accessories. Most of the people who live in the society select fashions according to their preferences. Some may follow every latest fashion, some may not. Even though some love to lead a fashionable life, some love to lead a simple life. It totally depends on you. Fashion changes fast every minute.No one can predict it. It is obvious that everyone likes to do anything in a new way. But, do you believe that ?. There is a couple, they love to dress like 1930..? Isn’t it interesting?
This couple from England, Ruth Shelly and Robert Oestmen. They have been engaged and they lead a retro life together. All the time they wear old-fashioned clothes and accessories in and out of the house.” Wearing old-fashioned clothes in 2021?” I know you have a doubt in your mind and you won’t believe it. But you have to believe it. Look at these photographs. Aren’t they beautiful for these old-fashioned outfits ?.
Robert explained how he started to love this lifestyle. His influencers were his mother and his grandmother. Roberts’s mother has been collecting antiques, Robert and his grandmother have watched old movies together. Not only that Robert has spent a lot of time visiting museums and reading about history. These reasons, influenced him to wear these old-fashioned clothes and to follow that lifestyle.
Ruth’s story is different from Robert’s. There were no influencers for her. Once she has tried the way of makeup which was used in 1940. That lovely makeup has influenced her to follow the old-fashioned things, and join with Robert. There is a question, how do they find these clothes and accessories. They collect these dresses and accessories from all sorts of places. They collect them from online auctions of vintage stuff or some people give them old clothes.
Anyway, they wear these dresses neatly, so that they can steal others’ attention towards them easily and remind others about these old fashions. They enjoyed their life doing what they want and what they love. Do and follow the things which are not harmful to you and others.No matter if it is old or latest. That is the thing we should keep in our mind from them. And keep this in your memory ‘’Old is Gold’’
